Event Venue Rental
Built in the “Arts & Crafts” style in 1905, the North Star House is listed on the National and State Registers of Historic Places. It is located on a 14-acre portion of the former North Star Mine, a site of spectacular Gold Country landscapes. The North Star House is owned, operated and being lovingly restored by the North Star Historic Conservancy, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
Our courtyard and terrace, extensive grounds, and lovely furnished home offer you lots of flexibility to plan your event just the way you want it to be. Our terrace will offer you and your guests sweeping views of a Gold Country sunset.
The furnished interior features hardwood floors, a beautiful living room, an elegant dining room, catering kitchen, two restrooms, plus some smaller rooms.
For outdoor events, there is a lighted courtyard and stone terrace. The house also has lawns on both sides. There is an outdoor restroom.
The site contains ample parking with accessible walkways.

We decorate the interior of the House for the holidays each year mid-November through December — a wonderful time to have a holiday party for your company or group of friends.
